What's so relaxing about watching a sunset is our understanding of what it signifies which is the ending of a day. The time for us to slow down and relax from all the day's work. If you just listen to your breathing while taking in the grand display of the clouds and lights, you just feel like everything stops. It is just you and the sunset.

Flowers bloom, water flows, the earth breathes through the wind. Birds sing, and leaves rustle. The morning glory is still purple from yesterday. I thought I saw heaven. I am trying to comprehend why a divine scenery like this always emblazons the sky with peace. As if time stands still and you are able to absorb everything that unfolds before your eyes. There is this inexplicable nervousness in your heart. It is like warm feelings of joy and gratitude explode exuberantly. There are so many elements engineered together to create a picturesque piece of creation like this sunset. While I was transfixed with what I was seeing, suddenly consciousnesses hit me. It said, there was a message behind all these: there are signs of the creator in every creation.

I couldn't help but to stop the car and captured this amazing one of a lifetime sunset. There is something about lights during sunset. with the gorgeous golden streaks lights flashing in the sky in elaborated manner,it seeped trough my mind and I could feel an instant peace. Almost like I was floating in the air watching the horizon far and wide. This was nature performing graceful and elegant piece of art for the world to see and it was so generous to share its beauty. Like a big canvas of painting with various textures, patterns, balance and composition, the lights grew strong and fade in passing seconds. It energized my being with euphoric sense of freedom. There is definitely something with sunset lights.

Place of worship is god’s house on earth where his name is mentioned plenty of times. A place to go to keep us reminded of our purpose of life. Also, a place where the angels come and see who are among the servants become god’s guests, frequenting his place of worship, joining the congregations to pray and glorifying his messages. God has created human and commanded them to practice the virtues of religion for their own benefits. Place of worship is a place to be.

Amidst the challenges and difficulties that have ever knocked on the front door of our lives, there is a time when reality hits us really hard that teaches us a life lesson. I have learned that life is too short. It is too short that too many questions left unanswered, too many feelings unexpressed, and too many intentions undone. Everything is buried and sealed with regrets of not being able to make up for lost chances. It was a life story stopped abruptly without an ending. We should not repine and wallow too long in this dear temporary life. But we should appreciate every waking moment till it lasts.

Repentance is a pathway to salvation. An act of recognizing misdeeds that have caused deviation from the straight path. An awakening that springs from remorse of past wrongs and growing into greater heights of submission to god's will. Initiated by profound sincerity, it is a voluntary decision in order that eternal happiness can be attained.
