A vacation that holds fun for years

I have been trying to be passionate about life even most of the time I have failed to do so. But looking back, there were just so many things to be grateful about. I may have missed so many things in life but I am glad I am still breathing to continue seeing what life has in store for me and to be able to share it with other people makes the whole life journey all the more meaningful. And here I am going to share a piece of memory that will hold fun for years and it has taught me profound meaning of friendship.
I spent 4 days vacation with 2 of my new friends; Ned and Christie. I barely knew them but at the end of the journey, my friend and I knew each other better in person of which we were distanced because of prejudice or preconceived belief beforehand (at least I’m talking about myself). I believe, naturally, human is afraid of unknown until they have really grasped understanding of the unfamiliarity then only they are in control of situation. It was an unplanned vacation but, it happened to be the best vacation of all. Some questions popped up in my mind, was it because of the places that we went that made the time spent worthwhile? Or was it because of the people in it that had caused all the ecstatic feelings? Or was it the combination of the two. The journey began with 2 hours of road trip to the northern state of Penang. I was euphoric to see the mega structure of Penang bridge for the first time. To witness what was previously seen on tv was indescribable. It may sound a little bit childish but that is how I express my passion towards life. Furthermore, the idea of being old and boring does not appeal to me. I managed to preserve the moments by taking some videos. After filling the car tank at petrol station, we had pleasure of being taken into anonymity of the Penang city only to realize we were practically lost! To make matter worst, the map that we used did not do much justice. However, a kind middle-aged Indian parking attendant saved the day by showing us the way to the correct street where we finally discovered an old charm of the past called “Old Penang Guest House”. To be continued….
